All addresses with a TRX balance automatically get 600 bandwidth per day. When your wallet lacks sufficient energy, it burns TRX to cover the shortfall — which is why fees can appear surprisingly high.

You can significantly reduce TRC20 transaction costs by freezing TRX to obtain bandwidth and energy. The more TRX you freeze, the more free resources you gain. Frozen TRX cannot be sent or used in transactions, and unfreezing takes 14 days.
